Carol Mouton

I am a foot health practitioner, providing routine foot care and treating common foot problems.

I bridge the gap between a pedicurist and a podiatrist/chiropodist.  I will assess the condition of your feet and treat appropriately.  When necessary, I will refer you to your GP, a podiatrist or orthotist.

Above is the list of treatments I offer.  Additionally, I provide advice to clients on how to maintain proper and healthy foot care.

First Appointment

Your first appointment will be about 15min longer than a normal visit.  This is so we can complete a client record form for you and I can do an initial assessment of your feet.  I will note your medical history and include any medications you are currently taking (Please bring a list if necessary)
All information is treated as strictly confidential between the client and myself.
After the initial treatment I will discuss an ongoing treatment plan if required.

Cost of Appointment

Appointments are R300, payable on day of treatment

Payment options

Payment by cash

Cancelling appointments

Please give 24 hours notice if you cannot make your appointment.  This allows me to allocate the time to another client.

Infection control

My client's safety and hygiene are of utmost importance to me.  I place great emphasis on clinical cleanliness.

Before any treatment starts, feet are soaked in a warm, antiseptic, bath.  All instruments used are cleaned and disinfected with alcohol and then sterilised under UV light after each appointment.   This eliminates the risk of cross infection or contamination.
